Free Camp 2022 - Another great success - 23/6/2023

McKenzie Institute Indias Public Health Initiative, MDT Free Camps 2022 was successfully organised on 11th September, Sunday celebrating World Physiotherapy day in memory of Sir Robin McKenzie.

19 dedicated Certified MDT/ Diploma MDT hosts , 46 Volunteers (with MDT education) all together at 20 venues in Mumbai, Thane, Ulhasnagar, Pune, Nashik, Bharuch, Vapi and Ahmedabad managed to see 313 patients for their musculoskeletal pain and disabilities.

These patients were assessed , treated and educated with the principles of McKenzie Therapy. They were also given 2 free follow up sessions. So in total patients received 3 free valuable sessions saving their big amount of fees.

28500 camp information pamphlets were distributed among the general public as part of public awareness campaign.

59 general physicians and orthopaedic surgeons were contacted by mails , giving them information about McKenzie System, it's patient empowering, evidence based treatment prescription and cost effectiveness with camp information.
